Sheldon P. Berger

Of Counsel

Sheldon Berger, through his professional corporation, is Of Counsel and one of the founders of the firm.

Sheldon specializes in real estate law, including acquisitions, sales, private placement and syndication, construction transactions, joint ventures, financing, leasing and subdivision. He has expertise with respect to development, financing, leasing, operation, acquisition and disposition of mobile home parks, office buildings, apartment complexes, subsidized housing and shopping centers. In addition, Sheldon has represented a number of other business enterprises in their organization and general corporate matters, including acquisitions, sales and mergers.

Sheldon has been a lecturer for the California Continuing Education of the Bar on current developments in real property law, with emphasis on financing, sales and tax issues. He is the author of the California summary in a 50-state compendium of mechanics’ lien laws, and the co-author of the real estate section of Eighteen Chapters on American Law, a Taiwanese publication.
