Michael Baum, through his professional corporation, is Of Counsel to the firm. Michael brings over 40 years of experience to RPB.

Michael specializes in corporate and business litigation, and has developed a reputation as one of the premier lawyers in the Fashion and Apparel Industry. His clients include fabric mills, printers, converters, importers, designers, manufacturers, factors, and national retail chains. Because of his expertise with both litigation and transactional issues unique to the fashion and apparel industry, Michael has been able to provide valuable guidance to both start-ups as well as established entities in all phases of their operations.

Michael’s practice also includes intellectual property disputes involving copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets, corporate and partnership control disputes, and commercial obligations.

Michael is a founding member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar’s Remedies Section and has particular experience in the use of provisional remedies including attachments and injunctions which, when available, often allow a client to achieve its litigation goals in an expeditious and economical manner.
