Lee M. Polster, through his professional corporation, is Of Counsel to the firm and one of its founding members.
Lee has represented promoters, institutional and accredited investors, and other principals in connection with real estate investments, including the organization, syndication, operation, refinancing, and sale of various types of real estate projects. Lee has extensive experience in advising clients regarding multifamily properties (both conventionally financed and government-assisted), mixed-use retail and residential projects, shopping centers, and hospitality properties. He has counseled them regarding the structuring and financing of joint ventures, limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations, and private real estate investment trusts.
Lee has served as an expert witness on real estate investment issues, and has lectured before the Los Angeles County Bar Association, real estate and mortgage loan brokers’ groups, the California Association of Independent Broker-Dealers, Inc., and other organizations and associations. He has taught syndication and partnership law, plus corporate law, courses at Southwestern Law School.
Lee received his undergraduate education from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of Finance), and his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University (magna cum laude), where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Lee is admitted to the State Bar of California, and is a member of the Los Angeles County and American Bar Associations.
