Jason Farber is Senior Counsel at the firm, specializing in federal and state taxation matters, as well as general and advanced estate planning.
Jason represents for-profit entities and individuals regarding general business and tax matters. Jason’s experience covers all areas of business operations – from formation to dissolution. In addition, he has an extensive background in assisting clients with property tax issues and 1031 exchanges. Jason’s experience also includes establishing and representing tax-exempt organizations, associations, and business leagues, as well as the tax aspects of charitable donations to such organizations. Jason also handles traditional estate planning matters, such as living trusts, wills and health care documents, as well as advanced planning such as charitable trusts, family limited partnerships and inter-family sales of businesses and real estate.
Jason received his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Loyola Law School and a LL.M. in taxation from New York University. He is admitted to practice in California and New York, and is a member of the California bar association.
